Finally got our baby home today, born in Solihull on Wednesday 5th December but kept in special care in Aylesbury due to a few unforeseen JLR issues. But she was worth the wait and now sits proudly at her new home.

Looks great!

Did the guys at Aylesbury give you a good handover?
Thanks, yes can't fault Stratstone, Aylesbury. We have been dealing with Lucy mostly who has been fantastic throughout and also dealing with colin and sandy who again have been faultless. Handover was great and very informative, we were just unlucky due to a JLR national computer glitch with registering the vehicles tax that we couldn't take her home when we should have. But totally out of Stratstone's hands and they gave us a new RRS to play with until it was sorted so all was good.

3 months will fly by, well worth the wait.

Pmac13, looking at the VIN decoder I suspect all Velars are called Saly - SAL is UK + Land Rover. The 4th character is part of the vehicle type designation so I assume that all or at least many Velars would start with the same 1st designation character.
