looked at pictures of it sat at the dealership, its like a carrot dangling on a stick haha. Problem now is that i have fallen head over heels for the RRS P400e that they've given me as a loan car.
I considered a P400e, but settled on the velar.
Couldn't justify the extra £25k for a fully loaded autobiography for a maximumof 30 electric miles
i know what you mean, i think i read somewhere it claims to get 95mpg? i must be doing something wrong as my journey to wembley and back i got 18.5mpg !! thats going to be an expensive car to run. I'm off to swap it back for my Velar in the next hour so i hope i'm not underwhelmed when i collect it as i've been waiting since september for this day to finally arrive.

Had the Apple Car Play activation carried out at no charge.

On 19MY vehicles don't let your dealer tell you it's an upgrade that carries a charge.....

I collected my Velar in November and as far as I'm concerned Apple Car Play should have been available. I booked it in for an "upgrade" to the Apple Car play for today 18-12-18 and received a call yesterday to say that there was no upgrade to Apple Car Play for my vehicle.... I said I agreed and advised the dealer that an upgrade was not required, merely an activation.

Took the Velar in this morning and a few hours later left with the Apple Car Play activated. Works well, just make sure you have an Apple cable and not a third party MFI certified cable (to avoid any disconnection issues.)

So far my Velar has been faultless and I can't fault Stratstone Aylesbury who have also been very accommodating and helpful.

Down in west wales this week and there has been lots of rain. Most of the country lanes are flooded and I've been able to plough through with no issues. Quite funny watching 3 series, A4/6's and C Classes reversing up windy country lanes trying to avoid the water!!!

I only got round to doing the last one yesterday. After it finished, up popped the message "new update available"!
Wish the software updates worked as well.

Once a year is more than enough effort for map updates for me.
Probably won't ever do it again.

So OTA worked with no hiccups? How did you initiate it?

I didn't, it presumably happened by itself overnight.

Had a punt along some country roads in dynamic and sport mode. What a drive! So impressed with the D180, altough I can only imagine how good the bigger engines are!
