As the sort of person that constantly misplaces their key, I put mine on a lanyard, and it really works well for me. it seems a bit heavy at first, but quickly you forget it's there, and as so many people now wear lanyards with work identification badges, you don't look a wally.
I took mine into Lookers Battersea today and asked for a replacement key. They told me that the car module also needs to be replaced if you lose a key and that the bill will be approx £750.00.
I was just coming to terms with the fact it might be £200. Surely this can't be right?
After recently buying my RR Velar from an independent Porsche dealer, it only came with one fob and the dealer stated that he will cover the cost of a replacement fob..............£704!!!
£180 Module
£170 Fob
£240 Labour
And the rest is VAT.
It’s in your floor board. The stupid design has two big holes in the floor under the seat just big enough for your fob to fall into and then slide further underneath the floor where you’ll never reach it, good times!
