Re: Centre rear headrest, how high does it go?

I’ve only ever managed a similar amount of movement to you. Luckily there’s only 2 of us so rear seats are rarely used, so I didn’t investigate further - was just suprised it didn’t raise more.

Re: Most disliked, hated or disappointing feature

Thanks @mikeJL, I didn’t know the lights reverted to auto next time you start the car. That’s very useful as I have to out tonight and thought I would need to factor in some time to sort the lights out before setting off.

Re: Most disliked, hated or disappointing feature

Sorry about that experience Wolfie. I've actually found the control stalk to be very intuitive. Basically, if you rotate to "auto" and release, it's in Auto and says auto on the bottom of the display. If your lights are off and you rotate to the notch just before auto with the headlight icon then r...

Re: Most disliked, hated or disappointing feature

Major gripe from me today, never really liked the feature but today it struck me how ridiculously over complicated, unnecessary and potentially dangerous the feature is... My gripe is the light control stalk, which when you twist the end of it returns to its original position... Today I’m out in the...

Re: Tow bar fitting failure

😱 That is immensely annoying for you, hope it ends well after the trip to Harwoods...

What do you plan to tow? Just curious as I’ve not seen a Velar towing a caravan yet, wondering how well they would do this...(I suspect very well😁)

Re: GAP Insurance on a PCP deal

I have only bought GAP cover once, and that gave cover in the event of a total loss for the “invoice price of the vehicle” . So in year 1, the normal insurance would provide a replacement car (I.e even if the car price had increased from what I paid, including the extras, they’d have got me another ...

Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

£30 for a valeter to visit and work for 2 hours. Seems very cheap. I live in Kent and. Would expect to pay nearly twice that :( TBH I think he’s well under priced - a normal car is only £25 so he does Swmbo’s Fiat 124 spider every 8 weeks (it lives in the garage...) Not surprisingly he’s very busy!...

Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

I haven’t got ceramic coating and don’t plan to have it done - option missing for that! My reasoning is that I have the car professionally valeted every 4 weeks, costing £30 a time. Part of that service (done at home so I don’t have to go out to get it done) is a protective coating ( g- tech I think...
