Most Liked, Surprising feature

Hey fellow Velar owners we have the "Most disliked, hated or disappointing feature" thread and I have enjoyed the civil discussion on features that fell short of the mark in this thread but I thought why not have a thread for what we like about our Velar's I will start #1 IMO best looking SUV on the...

Re: USB disabling / third party usb cable

Are you using an official Apple Cable? There were issues reported with aftermarket cables.

Re: Most disliked, hated or disappointing feature

No trailer hitch, the dumb ass that spec the car out was being cheap and said "I do not need that" shame the dumb ass was me... Feature I thought "Really that is so useless" - Auto high beams - I could not have been more wrong the system is flawless and I cannot understand how I lived without it. On...

Re: Evoque to Velar

Think you have a major problem. Steering wheel is on the wrong side:)

Looks nice, congrats.

My advice is take it on a long trip right away to bed the engine plus what is better then a nice road trip in a new car.

Re: Driving Program - "AUTO" sensitivity

I find Auto stays in auto with no random change in drive modes. Even set to shy drucenode the car should stick in that mode. Auto is supposed to adapt automatically to changes in ground/ road conditions. If you start driving more sporty around corners the suspension is supposed to adapt to that dri...

Re: Dynamic Mode - in Drive

I only drive the Velar in Dynamic, where my wife uses Comfort 90% and Eco the rest. I have the shifters setup to they work in S and D so I can downshift if I feel like it, while the tranny is a slush box it is still pretty impressive and the shifts are relatively quick. While I only have the D180 so...

Re: Proper Fitting of rear bumper protector

A strip of velcro on one end of the protector sticks to the floor carpeting (fourth photo). It doesn't come off easily which is a good thing. As I have a full size spare, my load space is a bit shallower but that doesn't impact the functionality of the protector. hoary2001 looks nice. Thanks for th...

To work -> To home 100KM round trip everyday. The Velar makes the morning and evening traffic tolerable.

Re: Double Exhaust

*Off topic a little* Here in Canada for the first Model year (2018) there was only 2 engine options P380 and D180. Not many S models were dealer configured for the P380 so it is easy to tell the Diesels from the Petrol models here. *On topic* I have heard a few times that the dual exhaust on the P38...
