Re: Phase 5 update now available

19a is where JLR should have been at when they released these pesky cars. It's pretty good overall. Just a known issue with reverse camera that wasn't there before.

Re: Hill Hold Assist

It's certainly a very unnerving experience when this happens. The last courtesy car I borrowed was like this. However, my own car does not have this issue.
How this can be case I don't know.

Re: Pathetic Software

The software is almost spot on now for me. I have an 's' model which has standard dials with no flicker and a standard meridian with no crackles.
The only issue I now have is the reverse camera that is slow load fully. This was never a problem before in any previous version.

Re: Front Window Rattle

I cannot believe that there is an official 'Landrover squeaks and rattle kit'. Brilliant :-) they should provide them with every car sold.

Re: Hands up - This crackling/popping Audio

I honestly feel gutted for the folks that suffer this problem. I only have an 'S' so I get the standard system.

Re: Land Rover Route

This looks like it needs a new telematics control unit. The symptoms are the same as my car. Location wrong and intermittent login to navigation which eventually stopped logging in altogether (it's location was a carpark in France for weeks). Remote worked fine with correct location.

Re: Touchscreen and other Velar issues

19a got AA working but I never use it so didn't care. But a couple of time the reverse camera came on when selecting reverse with out the surrounding options. It was always fine on previous versions. My car does however still have a peculiar fault whereby the left steering wheel control illuminates ...

Re: Service countdown

My old F31 BMW used to 'try' and forecast brake wear. In my opinion it's just dangerous. My experience was that with over 4000 miles til drive brake service required, there was actually very little pad material left. The brakes barely worked in the rain and the wear indicator hadn't come on. Just fa...
