Re: Velar Rejection - usage charge!

45p per mile is the standard (HMRC) rate you can claim from your employer for using your own car for business. This includes fuel tyres wear & tear etc. You could try and negotiate this down but they do have a case if they claim it is a "fair" charge for mileage. You are entitled to all your payment...

Re: Reverse Dip Mirrors

Every day is a schoolday! Had an MY18 model and was so frustrating that the mirrors would not remember previous position for reversing (our Evoque did) as the default position was terrible for me reversing into my garage. Did not realise that my new replacement MY19 model had this issue rectified an...

Re: App Question

Both our cars have shown low tyre pressures this week.

The colder weather will be to blame in my opinion. Just put some air in and should be fine :D

Re: Order now in and the wait begins.

Please let us know good or bad on the new one. People often don't bother with forums unless it relates queries, research or tales of woe. And, slightly selfishly, it could affect my own choice too ;) . 3,000 miles completed with my replacement Velar. Early days but absolutely no problems with it an...

Re: Rejecting Velar

When I rejected mine I would have had to pay around £4.500 in mileage charges and would have had to fight to get it down to this figure as they quoted double!. The dealer does not want you to walk away and should offer you a good deal on a brand new replacement car (they record a new sale). It will ...

Re: Rejecting Velar

As stated in previous posts you have more rights in the first 6 months. I would let dealer and finance company know that you intend to reject this car if faults are not fixed satisfactorily. Keep returning car to dealer for repairs and this builds up a record of the problems which makes rejection ea...

Re: Rejecting Velar

Hi all, Curious to know what the rejection process is and hear from people who have successfully rejected the Velar. Thanks. Without specifics it is very difficult to answer. i.e. how old is the car? what is the fault? etc etc. If there is finance on the car then the finance company has to be invol...

Re: D180 performance?

I have owned both!

In my honest opinion, under normal driving if you were to take a test drive in both without knowing then you would really need to look at the badge on the back to tell the the difference between them

Get the 180 and spend the money you save on better wheels or other options

Re: Animated Indicators - On or Off

Think it is fair to say it looks like animated indicators on are by far the favourite.

I think on as well :D
