We have both here in the UK Locks the door and anti siphon mechanism.

Have you got a Picture? If the car is sat for a day or two and its damp or raining out the disks will appear to have surface rust where the pads meet the disk. This is normal and will clear after driven....

The fuel filler door does lock when the car is locked.

Sometimes over cleaning a windscreen can cause this depending on what you have cleaned it with.... do they judder if it's raining?

That's because they are fitted to HSE models not SE. You should only have front white footwell lights. What we are saying is the cables there under the seat to add it but some just plug in and work and some dont.... could be a number of reasons why. Unplug one from the front and plug into the rear f...

Thats possibly why my rear footwell lights work. I'm running 19A update which maybe this version defaults to switching all footwell lighting circuits on regardless of its an S, SE or HSE as the engineers had to produce the new software without having to do so many different variants to each model.

Nunp. Mine is an SE built Oct18. That picture is actually my mates HSE and was to show the lights. Mine does not have that disk thingy either. Im presumimg it's a an audio speaker or something as he has the full top system. Here is a picky of mine door open lights at 100%.

Hi Nunp.
No plugged in and worked without doing anything else.

1. Do you front footwell lights work. On/off when locked?
Dim when doors shut in the car when running?
2. The wiring loom where the plug Is follow that back to the module box under the seat. Check this is plugged in.

Turbos generally make a more whistle sound so it could be a Possible an air leek from the turbo to the inlet manifold somwhere if its a more hiss air sound, Probably best for a JLR tech have a listen and check hoses etc...

Hissing sound. Does this happen when you accelerate? Cold be the turbo spinning up. If so, normal.

I had this issue too, well done LRNut. Solved the same knock sound I had. "Little bit of tape added." Haa haa
