Re: Polishing wax

To my knowledge ceramic coating is designed to keep the appearance of the car looking glossy and is easier to keep clean due to water repellency, but it does little to protect the car. PPF however is designed to eliminate/reduce the risk of swirl marks and add a protective layer (hence, paint protec...

Re: Metallic black paint issues

Haven't noticed on mine and i only really care what it looks like outside in normal light, but to my knowledge the plastic parts are not metallic paint and are just the standard Narvik Black, which could be why the difference is more noticeable.

Re: Suggested Order

Hugely rate the fixed pan roof (better than the sliding due to the bar in the middle of the sliding roof when closed). Warms the car on sunny winter days and as summer is limited in the UK, I would not worry about it. Plus you can always pre cool the car. I also wouldn’t buy the velar without privac...

Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

I wash my cars by hand, 2 bucket method, lambs wool mits, micro fibre drying towels etc and there’s still swirl marks. Not terrible marks though, but I notice them in certain lights.

The result of your car looks awesome. Just a little nervous about using a power tool on the paint 😊

Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

I am thinking of getting the Narvik black and I wanted to see if swirls was a thing! I hear on this site a lot! and is any form of paint protection wise to reduce swirling or shall I just pay for a decent valet each month like a few of you said. I wash my car weekly and the narvik is prone to scrat...

Re: Colour choice

Has anyone gone for the Narvik black? It’s the solid black colour. Not sure if it will look flat once it’s been worn in and if it will show all the wipe marks etc? Currently got a Santorini black Discovery which is nice when the sun hits it- just wondered if anyone has any feedback or advice on the...
