Rear Bike Carrier

I know you are told to carry bikes on the roof or via a tow bar rack, but.....I don’t have a tow bar and o am not strong enough to lift them onto the roof. So, has anyone tried a rear bike rack? I know my dad put one on his RRS and it seems fine but not sure if the smaller window on the velar will c...

Re: SIM card for sat nav

On a separate note, my dash cam is dying on me. It’s good because it tells me the risk zones for mobile cameras. Anyone know if the sat nav does this once you are connected via a SIM card? Waze will and I’m assuming you can just use that via the screen/app? Trying to save some money and buy a cheape...

Re: SIM card for sat nav

@J77 MY19.5. Been told to pop in on Friday and they will sort me out with a SIM. Quite right! Had mine two weeks and have 222mb left still, secret is to toggle off hotspot unless it’s required by your passengers, if that’s the case you’ll be looking at buying your own SIM. Won’t let the girls know ...

SIM card for sat nav

So I’ve got my new car and love it. But sat nav keeps asking for a SIM card. Should I have received this from LR? Never needed on in my evoque and traffic updates, etc were a given. Help!!

Re: The Race is On

I’ve signed the DS build sheet and it’s gone past the amendment so I guess I’ve gone past the point of no return now the Velar order would have been cancelled as it was only in the holding pool. The chances of placing a new Velar order now and having it by April are slim if those ordering October a...

Re: The Race is On

Absolutely gutted to see the Stratstone orders are filtering through after I had to take jump and go for Disco Sport that had a guaranteed build date within my time scale. Now the Velars are being built at the same time. Hope all you patient orderers enjoy your cars. I just couldn’t risk the car no...

Remote Start

So this is something I am interested in, and when I asked my LR dealer if I need to add it to the build to be accessed via the app on delivery, they said it is now a chargeable item at £1000? Not sure if this is just a MY19.5 thing. Can anyone confirm? Please 😊
