Re: Problems Doing software update at home

Yeah I got the email today hence why I tried the update, I’ll give it a few more attempts before booking it in. Ah ok I see. Well when I first did it, it didn't show any updates either actually. Waited a few minutes and tried again and it worked. This was over data rather than wifi, I think the wai...

Re: Problems Doing software update at home

Same, didn't have any updates until I received the email today and then I checked and it worked.

You have to wait for the email, or ask your dealer to release the update to your car.

Re: 19b Update

So annoyed - my dealer is saying 19B has to be updated by the dealer "as it takes 4-5 hours". I mentioned everyone on here is just getting it over the air and that I had 19A over the air - but they wouldnt accept it. Going to be a day without the car now :(

Re: Climate system issue

It's separate. The InControl Touch Pro (or IMC in LR parlance) updates (19A,19B etc) are for the infotainment system only and does not cover any other modules in the car. Those can only be updated by your dealer with their system. Great, good to know thanks. Will specifically ask for it next time I...

Re: Climate system issue

There’s a software update. Had mine done the other day. It’s much better now but still suffers from the same issue all my LR’s have had. A cold draught from somewhere. Thankfully not the face vents anymore. Is this the standard software update (i.e 19A, 19B etc) or a seperate one specific to the he...

Re: Number plate drilled

Got mine Feb 19 and the plate was stuck using pads AND was drilled. Luckily the drill wholes were quite close together as I swapped the oversized plate to a standard size plate which still covered the holes. I guess it's down to each individual dealer as they put the plates on. They also use differe...

Re: Smartphone Pack

Dont' get it. Wait till you get the car, take it in to say you have speaker crackles and need the latest software 19B which fixes it. 19B has smartphone pack included. :)

Re: 360 cameras retrofit

deano don't worry too much about the 360 cameras. It's poor compared to other systems. 3 big bug bears for me: 1. They will only come on automatically if you put the car in reverse. Any other time you're near to anything it will just kick in the proximity screens rather than the cameras. 2. If you a...

Re: Door Locking

Can't you just leave the doors/cap unlocked whilst filling, and then lock the car when you go to pay?

Re: Collected New Velar Today

Congrats mate.

Does your 360 camera view have a grey box around the car? I wonder if that has changed on newer models - one thing Inhate about the 360 can on the velar.
