Re: Heater issues

Sounds familiar and upon taking to the dealer for investigation it was blowing out the correct temperature. If find this is worse when ventilation is focused to the windscreen. I’ve also found if you switch on auto for a while it recalibrates itself.

Re: Curbed my wheels - repair cost?

I once handed back a Tiguan with a sprayed / repaired diamond cut alloy and the inspector did not spot the difference. Also most lease companies waive the first £150 of damage so you might get away with the damage.

Re: Leasing Company Blocking Remote App

My wife’s car is a A35 with leaseplan and I had to ask them for permission and sign a document stating that I will disconnect all remote services upon returning the car. So suggested by Kevshep just download and see what happens.

Re: New Velar - few issues

Both my tailgate and front passenger door were misaligned from new but easily sorted under warranty at local body shop. Just don’t get how quality control does not pick this up at the factory. Surely it costs JLR more in expensive warranty claims.

Re: Illuminated Sill Plates Retrofit

Yep I installed these. Relatively easy to install, just some gentle strength to remove the old ones. Should really be standard.
