Re: dreaded crackling stereo noise since latest update

Hate to say it but I too think the snap crackle and pop has returned on 19b.

It’s not quite as prominent but defo heard it there today.

That’s probably it for me with the Velar then, this one at least anyway.

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

@haybird

Great to hear

Me too bud, when everything is working great it’s a fabulous car, great to drive, comfortable and pleasant. I just hope the issues that have hampered our enjoyment of the car thus far are now behind us.

Fingers firmly crossed.

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

Thanks Arianne, I completely agree and god how both my wife and I have wanted to just enjoy the car and be happy but these issues that have occurred have just been spoiling it. Anyway........collected the car from the dealership first thing this morning. Had a long talk with the Master Tech there, s...

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

@haybird Picking the car up first thing tomorrow. Spoke with the technician earlier today, he said that they had fixed the reverse camera issues, the door handles have been realigned and the system should boot up quicker now. Interestingly he did say that the Hill Hold Assist not working when auto S...

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

@Haybird

Thanks man, I’m exhausted with this now to be honest.

Spoke with JLR on Friday and my intention to reject and all I got off them was excuses and reasons that I was not allowed, even although the car has never worked as it should for the 6 months I’ve had it.

See what happens I suppose.

Re: Finally Gone

I use CarPlay and it’s still woeful.

I’ve had 19b installed 4 weeks ago, cars going back into dealership tomorrow for more software related issues.

System boot times are exactly the same for me as they were with 19a, takes an age to load up.

One of the unlucky ones it would appear.

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

Well guys, my Velar is back in again tomorrow morning, that’s twice in the past month alone. This time they’ll look at 1. Rear door handle sticking 2. Phantom “in call” showing on the display when no call being made. 3. Hill Hold Assist not working if auto stop/start is on. AND afraid to say, I’m pr...

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

Thanks Ariadne, great reply. Maybe I’m just unlucky, these are my issues so far in 6 months of ownership 1. On day of collection noted chip in windscreen, within half an hour of collecting the car it’s being booked in for a windscreen replacement. 2. Scratches all over the black plastic trim on coll...
