Re: Rejecting Velar

It does seem as though it is handled differently by different dealers. My mileage was relatively low when I rejected it (though it will go back with over 12,000 miles on it) and there was no need to negotiate a deal as it is effectively a straight swop and the original deal was very keen anyway. Re: Rejecting Velar

Answers to the questions.... 1) They could not find any stock vehicle similar so I am getting a brand new car but built to order (the first car was a stock vehicle) so going for a similar car but in Byron blue, opening panaromic roof (instead of fixed), fog lights and premium trim pack, all round ca...

Re: Rejecting Velar

Personally I would reject the car NOW

My new Velar is being delivered after rejecting the 1st one so I speak from experience and mine was nothing like as bad as yours seems. Also rejected a Porsche Cayenne 3 years ago

Re: Sat Map Updates

I used a 3.1 USB stick and after a couple of false starts (the car didn't recognise the USB) etc I have finally got it done!!!!!

Good news really as we picked up a new Jaguar XE for my wife today and the first message on the satnav was that there was an update for the map!

Re: Sat Map Updates

Got a 64gb car, have formatted it to Fat32 but should it really take 5+ hours to download the map updates?

Re: Eastnor Castle- Land Rover Experience

We made a 3 day trip of it earlier this year and can throughly recommend the experience though it's not as good as the Porsche Driving Experience as they teach you how to drive the car in circumstances that you are likely to experience i.e. actually on the road

Re: What To Do........

Sorry that I am late into this but having just successfully rejected my Velar I think you will find that they are ironclad on like for like replacement if it is a negotiated rejection. I wanted to consider an I-Pace or RR Sport but I was told categorically that they were not options. Maybe you have ...

Re: Sat Map Updates

This is doing my head in!!!!

Bought a new 32gb flash drive and it keeps telling me it needs 28.9gb of space and that I only have 28.6! Have reformatted the flash drive but nothing changes. Anybody have any bright ideas?

Re: Traffic/Re-route on Velar Sat Nav

I use Waze now that I have Andoid Auto working. It does the normal job but a lot of features on the phone screen seem to get lost when on the Velar's screen. It's interesting to have LR satnav on the screen in front of me and Waze on the main screen
