Re: Driving Mode & Economy

BTW check tyre pressure.

Pressure dropping from 2.4 to 2.1 won't alarm the system but will affect MPG. Maybe not that much but still it could be one of the factors.

Re: Software update booked in - ACP/AA

Probably you need to ask a dealer to install ACP/AA on your car.

It's a option cost around 200$.

Cheers

Re: Cracked Panoramic Roof

Holy cr@p.

Did it happen while you were driving?

I wonder if your roof glass was hit by hail. It pretty common weather conditions in hot summer.

Finger crossed that it will be fixed under warranty as I suspect it won't be cheap to replace the glass :(.

Re: Ceramic Coating Paint Protection

I got Ceramic Pro 9H coating on my car. Makes the car easier to maintain (easy to wash and keep clean). Just bare in mind it won't protect your car paint from deep scratches. It's rather just like a additional layer on the paint. Agree. It's definitely worth to protect A/B/C/D pillars. I'm guessing ...

Re: High spec new Evoque vs low spec Velar

Hey, As far as I know new Evoque shares the old Evoque platform same as Jagura E-Pace. The platform is little bit outdated and heavier then new platform used on Velar and Jaguar F-Pace therefor Evoque with the same engine may be less dynamic then Velar. As side of that the boot size and space for 2n...

Re: Best dash cam for a Velar?

Nice set up. From where do you power the camera? Where does the power supply cables goes? It's connected directly to roof interior lighting?

Re: Suggested Order

As a owner of Velar in Kaikoura stone I can confirm it's a great choice. Looks very classy and it's very easy to maintain. You won't regret it.

Re: Moving from XC90 to Velar

Yeah, that was my initial idea.

I did some asking around and most likely I will be swapping the 18" wheels on 21" 1033 gloss blacks from 2nd hand in good condition. Fingers crossed.

Re: Moving from XC90 to Velar

Yeah. I'm fully aware it won't be looking so posh as I would like it to look.

I've seen some real pictures of Velar in that color on that wheels on the internet, added in attachment.

Worst case scenario I will buy 2nd hand wheels and try to sold the 18' ones.

BTW 22-27 mpg doesn't sound that bad.
