Re: Calling all Narvik Black owners

I had Narvick. Looked great when I first got it, but it got swirl marks so easily. I’ll never get a black car again I’m afraid. Shame really.

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

Alfa Romeo. Everyone should own at least one Alfa in their life. It should be the law. You’re not a Petrolhead until you have passed through the Alfa experience of motoring. Mine was a little Alfa 33. I loved that car. Owned from new as a company car. Alfa red, of course. Fell apart around me, of c...

The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

I am new to JLR products and have had the Velar D300 First Edition from new and have had no issues. Aftersales dealer experience has been comparable to my BMW and AMG dealer and service experience also very good. I think it is a bit disingenious to suggest that Velar owners who have had no issues a...

Re: Finally Gone

Yeah, they’re obviously software related. Isn’t that engineering? Just because they’ve made capable 4x4 cars in years gone by doesn’t make them capable of producing ever increasingly complex cars today. Re: Finally Gone

For me it comes down to a lack of engineering skill / resource at LR. Maybe the development process isn’t thorough enough or perhaps the hardware isn’t up to it. There’s something fundamentally wrong when the cars appear to be pushed out of the factory and it’s down to the dealers to try and put th...

Finally Gone

We have had our first JLR product, a Velar D300 First Edition, and are very happy with it. No issues, No complaints, Excellent dealer aftersales service and any concerns or minor niggles attended to immediately. We have always bought premium german cars and they are equally prone to software issues...

Re: The Have’s & the Don’t Have’s

Some people just wont realise there are faults with their vehicle and will just carry on. I have a spreadsheet for the issues with my Velar. Seriously! My car just doesn't stop giving, its latest issue is the front door window surrounds that are corroding and the paint has started to wear away on t...

Re: D275 - Bumpy when Braking?

Could it be as simple as warped rotors?

Re: D275 - Bumpy when Braking?

I had a d275 and didn’t experience that. I thought the brakes were pretty decent in fairness.
