Re: InControl Touch Pro 20B released

I got the "no upgrade available" notice a few times, I discovered it was due to the Velar having forgotten the password for my home network, when I put it back in the car found the upgrades. Obviously if you're not using wifi to download this won't affect you :-)

Re: Shell Pay at Pump App

I've used the Esso one, sadly we don't have a Shell here in Lochaber :-) Works as advertised, except thanks to our fairly dodgy G3 signal I usually find it faster to actually go into the shop and pay!

Re: Limited power warning

Had this a few times with my previous car, a Discovery Sport, it seemed to be related to using cheap supermarket diesel. I haven't had it with the Velar but I also don't use the cheap diesel anymore.

Re: Dynamic Mode v Sport Mode query

Dynamic also changes the suspension on non air sprung cars too - the adaptive dynamics is standard across the range.
Thanks, I didn't know that.

Re: Dynamic Mode v Sport Mode query

Sport mode only affects the gear box, makes it hold the gears longer and kick down more responsively.

Dynamic mode will firm up the suspension on air sprung models, sharpens the steering and throttle response.

If you're going for ultimate performance then you'd probably want to engage both.

IMG_CB4CD8FFFADA-1.jpeg From the car park in Kingussie back to my house in Onich. 4th November last year, so will have had the climate running, 2 big dogs in the car to steam it up! 2 adults and luggage for 2 nights. Would have been in a mixture of Eco and Dynamic settings for the twisty bits. No p...

Re: Yet another MPG post

Sorry to rub this in petrol dudes, I've had better than 50mpg out of my D300 several times since buying it in April last year. I'm disappointed now to "only" get mid-40s. Considering the performance I think it's amazing. (Verified that the trip computer is within 3% accurate going by filling brim to...

Have you tried just swapping the blades for a new set?

Re: Gear Selector Knob

That eBay listing says it won't fit a Velar I'm afraid. I assume you checked already but thought I better point it out!
