Re: When did the power rear seat recline get deleted?

I think JLR are cost cutting on the new MY cars. Steering Assist option has gone too. Less leather colour options for dash trim, cheaper buttons on steering wheel and again less leather, small cost cutting options that all build up to save production costs.

Re: How do I enable the drivers seat entry and exit mode?

The drivers seat does not have this function. Best you can do is set a position in the drivers seat memory (if available in your vehicle) and the select that number each time you get out the car. The steering column does move automatically when you open the door, the dial on the right of the steerin...

Re: Latest Major Software Update

Not sure what update it us, probably 20c. Just surprised as Land Rover don't usually send emails in advance of updates and the updates don't usually take a half hour vehicle outage to install so probably some big changes on the way.

Latest Major Software Update

Anyone been able to install the latest update yet?

I received the email from Land Rover saying you have to leave the car locked for 30 mins for the update to install correctly, tried doing the install but no up dates available yet so guessing the update is being rolled out gradually.

Voice control load sat nav favorite?

On the old JLR InControl systems you could say to the voice control "Favourite" follwed by a sat favorite name (e.g. dads house) and it would load the navigation to that location. Is there a way to do this sort of voice command with the favourites in the current InControl sat nav? As far as I can te...

Re: 2021 Velar

I dont like the new steering wheel or gear selector, old interior was better, also you cant get oyster leather on the dash on the configurator. Notice Steering assist no longer an option on the configuration which is a step backwards but may come later?? Surprised JLR also still selling the old cup ...

Re: Hello from Toronto

I would try taking the . out of the WiFi name, in computer programming the . is used to provide functionality so may be worth a test to see if that is causing the issue.

Re: Hello from Toronto

One bug I know exists is if you try to connect to a Wi-Fi with the '-' symbol in the Wi-Fi name it breaks and wont connect correctly, pretty poor from JLR given the '-' symbol is in the word Wi-Fi :(

Re: InControl Touch Pro 20B released

Think they should give you the choice in settings. Personally prefer the temp on each side, never change the fan as auto climate manages that for you, got Max AC and Max Defrost buttons if you need powerul air flow. Temp more useful as when you have a passenger in the car you dont have to manually t...
