Re: bye bye Velar. Hello iPace FE

Enjoy It’s a nice looking car but the I-pace isn’t for me, too expensive IMO. To get like for like its £12k more than my Velar. I’ll wait and have a look at the Tesla Model Y, which will be sub £40k, but can’t see me going electric for a long time still far too much work to be done. Like what? From...

Re: bye bye Velar. Hello iPace FE

Congrats!

I ordered a Model Y; of course it’ll be a while before I get it. Already shopping for wheels though lol.

Re: No New Software Updates

Yeah 18D has been suspended and will be replaced by 19A My one spent 2 days in the dealers apparently getting 18D but it didn’t. 2 days wasted  Same thing happened to me. They didn’t even tell me they didn’t update it, I just noticed it was the same software version on pickup. Annoying. Oh we...

Re: Wheel arch gap

I think I’m the only one that thinks the Velar slammed in access mode looks silly. It’s a Land Rover, it’s not supposed to have no wheel gap. I think the Velar lowered on air makes it look smaller than it is...not a look I care for. I don’t notice much of a difference between air in normal mode and ...

This is scary. I assumed parts supply would get better not worse. My 2 month wait for the same part was bad enough; I feel for you!

Re: Phase 5 update now available

Got my car back with 18D today. It was fine on the drive home and seemed less laggy than 18C. Time will tell.

Re: Phase 5 update now available

My media connection has been very stable with 18C and ACP. I get album art/track info on all 3 (upper, lower, and driver) screens with an iPhone XS and the latest iOS, and USB connection has been reliable. Though my phone connection is good, the overall usability of the system was degraded. Menus ar...

Re: Waiting 3 months for a part on 2018 Velar

I had the same issue. I never mentioned it on the forum because I just wanted to forget the experience, but I won’t buy another Land Rover because of it. My car was damaged on the rear quarter/rear door by a hit and run. It was mostly cosmetic but bent the door frame enough that it wouldn’t seal pr...

Re: Yulong white worth the premium?

Yulong is wayyyyyyyyy better imo. Had a loaner in it and loved it, especially with the black roof. It looks very premium.
