Re: P250 vs P300: Is there a big difference in MPG?

I'm getting about 20mpg in my P300, mostly city driving.

Re: Pre-Delivery Process

Get the cheapest data only sim you can find - I got mine from 02, 12 months prepaid, but i'm sure any sim will work fine. Just make sure it's activated and working before you go. I'd never recommend letting a dealer wash a car. Ever. As for protection, the options broadly break down into: Wax - chea...

Re: Pre-Delivery Process

Hi, Having followed the stories of others on this forum since last year, there does appear to be an element of luck with the actual defects people are seeing with these cars. Those things are unavoidable, but that being said, I'm sure you're trying to minimise the avoidable ones so here's my two cen...

Hi,

I think the double exhausts only come on the P300, D300 & P380 engines.

Re: JLR partners with.... Blackberry.... to “improve” tech

One half implemented platform will get binned, another one will be written. Outsourcing the problem will only make things slower, more expensive and less reactive. As a software developer, and having built applications on several blackberry platforms in the past, I can almost guarantee that this wil...

Re: droop of water in lower screen

Hi, It can be taken out but it requires removing the entire centre console to access the screws behind that hold it in place: centerconsole.jpg screen.jpg Might be worth buying some heavy duty silica gel dehumidifying packs and placing them strategically behind and around the screen first to try and...

Re: Workshop Instruction Rear Door Handle

Hi, Replacing the rear door handle requires the entire door to be dismantled, almost every piece of trim on or around the door is removed. The rough process (from topix) is: Remove the interior trim panel: handle1.jpg handle2.jpg Remove the window: handle3.jpg handle4.jpg handle5.jpg handle6.jpg han...

Re: P300 here at last

As expected, dealer has confirmed that the roof rails cannot be removed. Really annoying as the point of having a new car built is so that it is to your exact specification but there you go. I did point out to them that you won't find roof rails on any of the headline "design" marketing photos as th...
