Re: Subwoofer access

As far as I can tell, the subwoofer is located behind the Loadspace Side Trim Panel (on the LHS for RHD cars at least), number 7 on this diagram. speakers.jpg That panel is quite difficult to remove as you need to remove the door seal, seatbelt and the interior panels from the rear passenger seat as...

Re: Opinions on roof rails?

Don't like them, they ruin the look of the car in my opinion. The car looks more modern and sleek without them, the difference is significant.

I actually have them fitted but not by choice (dealer error) and don't want to risk removing them.

I've never used them, doubt I ever will.

Re: Sat nav voice guidance

They kept my car in for nearly 3 weeks trying to fix this. In the end they had to escalate to JLR directly in order to figure out what was going wrong. They did manage to fix it in the end though and there was a bulletin posted on TOPIX around the same time: topix1.JPG I would book the car in to get...

Moped Crime

Just averted another break in attempt on my Velar by two scumbags on a moped, one guy had got off and was looking through the back window with a torch. I opened my window just in time and the guy on the moped just looked up at me calmly and said "Don't worry, we're not going to break in to your car ...

Re: In control account

Not true, they can be retrofitted. My dealer offered to do it for me and others on the f-pace forums have had it done or done it themselves. The reason why dealers are so reluctant to do it is because it's a lengthy and complicated process requiring removal of every upper trim panel in the interior ...

Re: What exactly is this called?

It's called the "Tailgate Blind", it covers the gap between the parcel shelf and the tailgate - so people can't see what's in your boot.

See viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2297#p22976 for correct removal/install procedure.

Re: In control account

Only thing they didn't do is put the roof bars on which the wife wanted on for the aesthetics as nothing will be put on the roof anyway.. They said they will order and fit them for us... I'm trying to convince the wife just to leave it as I can't be bothered with the hassle... Had the opposite issu...

Re: All Velars to be recalled ‘Emissions’

This article seems to narrow Velar models down to petrol only:

My concern is that the "fix" is simply an engine de-tune on all affected...
