Re: London P380 query for newbie

I have a P380 (obviously ), and returned 28mpg (US) / 33.6 mpg (imperial) on a recent motorway journey. City driving returns around 17 mpg (US) / 20.4 mpg (imperial) depending on how heavy my foot is. Here’s that motorway journey almost 70 miles in: A091C743-AB54-4773-8FBD-E747E698C0D4.jpeg Rea...

There are reports in forum here: https://www.velarforums.co.uk/search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keywords=Media+hud&start=50

Maybe contact those early members to see if they have a picture or video beyond their words.

Re: Apple Car without InControl Apps/Wifi

Not without at aftermarket system, and that’s not something you want in a Velar. Have you been in touch with your dealer to see if they can activate it for a fee?

Re: Aftermarket exhaust

https://www.cpachiptuning.us/manufacturer/land%20rover/range-rover-velar/land-rover-range-rover-velar-p380-280kw/ Have to say, for the price and ease of installing/removing, this seems a no brainer for anyone with a p380 to unlock the engine’s potential, and that includes up to 5mpg better fuel eco...

Re: Uh oh!

Was using the self park feature for the third time and it was all going well till it drove straight into the pole in front 🤦🏼‍♂️. Very sorry mate. Am I missing something or don’t we have to control the gear selector and accelerator/brake, and all the system does is manage steering? How did it drive...

Seems like this is UK only. So sad since it seems to be such a nice experience.
Offered in North America as well.

Re: Tip Of The Day

Closing all windows and sunroof is also possible by pressing and continuing to hold the keyless entry button on the door handle when you’re locking the Velar. Believe the fob has this functionality disabled for safety reasons so no one accidentally closes on someone.

Re: Traffic/Re-route on Velar Sat Nav

The in car system really is appalling. If only we could get google maps on the driver display. Yep, it’s really quite incompetent even without having to reroute around closures. Find it tries to take me off the fastest route more often that not and that ETA is rarely accurate compared to Google Map...
