Re: Finally Gone

Same here, 2+ years in. A shame some have bad experiences in the forum. The majority are fine based on previous polls conducted showing the minority experience these issues. JLR needs to do better though. The customer service, especially at the dealer level, is where they need the most improvement. ...

Re: Two year, 32,000 mile review (D300)

Welcome back, Arianne! So glad to hear of the resolution and that you didn’t end up having to reject. Looking forward to more good reads from you, my friend. I recently had my 2 year anniversary, and am still very pleased despite the few niggles along the way (all resolved).

My car was updated with CarPlay yesterday and it’s great. Looks lovely on the screen.

Slight issue, how do you exit it to get back to the standard home screen? 🙃
Scroll over until you see the Land River icon/button. That’ll do it!

Re: Google Map on Speedometer Screen

Apple provided the functionality in ios13, but its up to JLR’s engineers to implement it so the maps can be displayed in the dash. I’m not holding my breath, but it is a good sign that it’ll happen eventually now that InControl has been discontinued. @SpokenHands - the live traffic rerouting and ETA...

Re: Velar unlock Shortcut

To clarify the app would not be for free only because I would have to pay Apple 99€ a year to publish the app. So only to re-pay that amount of money I'd pay for such an app, especially if it could do all the features the JLR remote app could do. You would need to watch that JLR don't steal your id...

Re: Electronic handbrake

I think it depends on the steepness of the slope. Mine seems to roll back (literally a minute amount) slightly on shallow slopes but holds on steeper slopes. I think this is correct for most owners, the movement of the car is only on shallow slopes. I have this happen at a light controlled roundabo...

Re: Heater issues

I’ve had my AC blow hot air randomly (roughly 3 times this summer) until I switch the temperature to “Lo,” which corrected the issue almost immediately. Have my 2 year service on Wednesday, so will have them check it out and report back. Regarding the fogging issue, there was a recall back in early ...

Re: Two options Down Touch Screens ...?

Makse is right, they vary on the model so the Velar is at the top and the RR Sport is at the bottom. Wrong, the imagery difference (outside of the RR model shown in imagery) varies by software version not model. All Touch Pro Due systems looked like the bottom RR Sport’s screen up until a software ...

Re: Two options Down Touch Screens ...?

While that in particular is not a velar, my Velar has the same style imagery still as this changed via a software update last year (18C I believe). There’s no way to revert if you prefer the other graphics unfortunately, and my understanding is it changed due to feedback about the screen being a bit...
