Re: Velarman might be coming back :)

I drove the d300 and it was utterly lovely. There is now a d275 to consider too. As far as depreciation is concerned, predicted levels are still worse for petrol. Just look at the balloon payments via rockcar search. P300 costs more monthly than d300 by quite a way despite the price. D180 seems to w...

Re: Differences between MY19 & MY19.5

Didn’t they bring air suspension back? For 6 cylinder engines.

The removing of adaptive dampeners and killing of pcp deals via ballon reductions is what drove me away. Was curious if they improved things.

Re: CARWOW=GOOD VELAR DISCOUNT

5k isn’t that good to be honest. In Mark I saw 10k discounts on d300 and 17k on max spec p380. Also, what is Apr on the deal? Normal 5.9 is high while rockcar offers 4.9 and stratatone 3.9. Velar just isn’t selling that well so you have to bargain hard. It’s totallt different game to the evoque or r...

Re: U.S. 2019 Order Guide

Uk se always had the 360.

I pretty much gave up on my search once I saw them get rid of air. Adding options kills pcp deals ...

Will wait 3 years and go second hand.

Re: Lease deals

4 years is far too long for a lease. You’ll be a renting a car out of warranty.

Take a look at rockcar?

Re: Experience of using Stratstone?

So no adaptive suspension. Mere coils. Be aware test drives likely on my18 cars which didn’t even have passive coils. Deal looks good though 6k Miles is low, 4 year term high and 180 engine a bit slow for me. I noticed 180d is the best value in pcp due to high Baloon relative to others. Velar is com...

Re: Basic Velar - PCP

There were great deals on carwow for March delivery. 8k off plus the high balloon gave a 670pm deal with 5k deposit 10k per year for 3 years. That’s for a d300 se with 2k of options. Same deal now is at least 100pm more. If you lower to d275 it’s only about 40pm more. I think September the deals mig...

Re: Basic Velar - PCP

There is a discount on pre builds cos they hAve to shift them before September to meet emission targets, else they have to pre reg.

For the d300 I had configured on rockcar, the extra discount didn’t nearly make up for the hit in balloon payment and increased Apr.

Might work better on cheaper pcp

Re: UK Velar Registrations

P300 very expensive on pcp/lease.its hard to argue it over the d300 which is cheaper on those.

Things changed in my19 in terms of balloon. Petrols relatively better.
