Re: US Turn Signals and DRL

Just curious.... Anyone in the US have their DRL stay on when using the turn signals? Mine completely shut off, but I saw a review from Doug on YouTube. When he signaled, some of the DRL (closest to the grill) remained on when signaling. Thanks Canada here -mine shut off. Wish they wouldn’t. I’d pa...

Re: Hello again Vinny MkII

Finally a dry day and some detailing so a couple of images. I am always struck by the sheer beauty and style of this car. The other day I came across a middle aged dude just standing by my Velar gawking. I asked him if I could help him... and he said no, he’s just never seen anything quite like thi...

Re: New Software

I just picked up my Velar after servicing, and this is the updated version string I now have... img_3771.jpg Which is the same it was before I meant to add, but pressed submit (on mobile). So I’m not sure what software was updated.... which is why it was booked for service along with a rear speaker ...

Re: Deployable Door Handle

There is a service bulletin out on the door handles, advising dealers not to replace. I've had one replaced, and the dealer had ordered another replacement for a different handle. They have been advised not to fix, pending an update from JLR. The bulletin is posted on TOPIx from what the service man...

Re: ICTP software NEW update 17C4

Just got an email from JLR France stating that a fresher update , 17C4 is on the way. anybody heard about this or tried it ? My dealer has mentioned there is an update here (Canada) and it will be applied next Tuesday. I've had more stability with 17C than before, noticeably so. I have had some iss...

I bought a Velar off the lot with no hitch. I asked to have a hitch put on before pick up and it cost $2195 CDN. Excellent piece of kit that included a new rear under bumper piece.
Same thing here, albeit a bit cheaper on my unit - I am a bit of a grinder on price.

Re: Loving The Velar.

Having waited for what’s feels like an eternity since my order in October my dealer called today to say that my P250 SE in Indus with Pano, 21” alloys has arrived today. Had I not been at work I would have driven down to the dealer straight away to see it. I’m collecting on Thursday and am very exc...
