Re: Phase 5 update now available

I checked today again and not available yet! Anyone else in 19C and the car saying 'Software up to date'? Have you ever had any OTA updates? If not, it may be that the SOTA function is not enabled yet. A call to the dealer and they are able to remotely switch this on for you! All the best! Yes. I g...

Re: Battery conversation tips

Are your battery/charger connections spot-on? Have they worked loose? Is there a significant vehicle load draining the battery whilst you are charging? Is it a high-power charger and/or getting very hot? Is the charger cheap & cheerful? Does the charger have a battery temperature sensor? Has the ch...

Re: Battery conversation tips

I have just received the CTEK MXS 5.0 I have connected it to my velar, and I have to say that more or less in 30 minutes, the charger was already in step 4 (absorption). According to the manufacture, this means 'charging with declining current to maximise up to 100% battery capacity'. Step 3 (bulk)...

Re: Apply Carplay - Can it be upgraded?

Update after visiting a dealer today: "For car trim without sim card slot or HDMI port near USB ports, InControl Apps / CarPlay / AndroidAuto cannot be enabled. Also, dealers do not offer possibility to retrofit required hardware." I am disappointed. Looks like I have to keep waiting if any of the ...

Re: Battery conversation tips

So I purchased the Ctec MXS5.0 as back up just incase we are stuck like this for months and is an excellent top up charger, trickle and keeps it maintained and can leave it plugged in all the time without worring about any over charging etc. With regards to warning of low battery warning this poppe...

Re: Battery conversation tips

I have never used a trickle charger. The car has been parked for 4 weeks whilst we were on holiday, and lately for 3 weeks whilst on COVID lockdown; and it started without any issue. Did you get the low battery warning? My car has been at the dealer multiple times because I was constantly getting t...
