Re: Phase 5 update now available

Finally got it back upgraded with latest software. At long last it seems to be working properly- bottom screen too.
Upgraded carplay software and latest iOS upgrade seems far better than ever before.
Hopefully all is well

Re: Heater issues

Get it reported to your garage. There’s a software fix apparently to recalibrate it.

Re: SOTA / 19b

Strange that Landrover have posted a YouTube video for over the air updates, especially as it never seems to work in my car.

Re: Qi wireless phone charger for center console

I don’t get it. If you are using carplay or android play - you need to be plugged in to USB and that charges anyway.
If the ‘play’ did’t need usb connection then bob on !

Re: Pathetic Software

Yes it is - great car - crappy software. Worked in IT for over 35 years and seen the best and the worst. This should never have passed testing.
Mines been in many times for software issues - due in again now - but sadly don’t expect much.

Re: No audio with incoming calls via ACP

Happens to me too. All too regularly. My car was in last week for the locking system being replaced. Whilst it was in I had a new evolve with the same entertainment system. It worked faultlessly. When I went to exchange back I showed their engineer the differences and told them politely to sort it o...

Re: Phase 5 update now available

My car has been with Ribblesdale Landrover for 2 days whilst they applies ‘loads of updates’ to the infotainment system which has been a mare. Picked it up this afternoon. Apple CarPlay is there, obviously the system HAS been updated as everything is now at factory defaults and the images have chang...

What’s the thoughts? By the way - I was told that if there’s a lot of water pop it into snow and ice mo...

Re: Any updates on Carplay/AA?

My motor went in for some (more) work last week, including AdBlu top up. Had previously complained about the rubbish Bluetooth and usb connectivity and its dangers - so whilst it was in they upgraded to 18c including CarPlay. It’s a revelation. I can actually play my music and work Satnav etc withou...

Re: Any updates on Carplay/AA?

Interested to hear your views on the Brodit? I’ve always had one, but for the Velar seems a little invasive. Well I have had the latest Software version today here in the UK, and all seems to have gone well. I cannot test Android Auto, but can confirm Apple CarPlay seems to work and it does so very ...
