Re: Few questions about the Velar before purchase

Welcome to the forum. If you look through the past posts, you will see that many members do a lot more with their Velars than just drive around the city! I’ve got close to 40K miles on mine including trips up to the mountains during the winter, drives along the beach and dunes, and long road trips i...

Re: Beach Driving in the Velar

Great pictures and video.

My beach driving this year has been curtailed by the closure of Oceano Dunes due to Covid. The Velar does tend to stick out amongst the Hummers and raised pick up trucks there when we do go! It’s not Nantucket...

Re: Retrofit options, features?

As far as I know, there are quite limited options for upgrading features once the car is built. Other forum members have asked their dealers and it hasn’t been possible to do so. I think the wiring looms are slightly different for each car depending on the configuration when it was built. Perhaps so...

Re: Sat Nav re-routing

Agree that Google/Apple maps are better. The only time where the built in Nav system has been useful is in remote areas with poor cell coverage, making the cellphone apps unusable unless you download the local area map in advance.

Re: Velar P250 Horrible Engine Problems

I have the P250 and it has been great so far. Sorry to hear you are having problems.

The loud engine fan most likely means your water pump has gone bad, which is a common fault on these engines. Your dealer should replace it under warranty.

Cross posting 20B release notes from the IPace forum.

Some minor fixes including for audio popping. We’ve heard this before though...

Re: P250 v p300 difference

My understanding is that the P300 has dual turbos vs one for the P250. So you can’t get the additional horsepower just through changing the tuning.

Re: White tube sticking out after rain?

Underneath the car near the gas filler cap? If so it’s the the gas filler overflow drain. It doesn’t move so I guess you just noticed it!

Re: New Remote App Version

FYI for USA owners. The new Remote App is now available in the Apple App store in the US (well, it is for me at least).
