Re: Battery issues

Check the following: lock the car and make sure the red light in the emergency hazard light button (red triangle on top of the console between the air vents) turns off (can take 10-15 mins). If it doesn't then the electronics aren't shutting down properly and will drain your battery. Someone on here...

Re: Phase 5 update now available

@spokenhands GT-C..... wow, good for you. The Velar is my wife's car. I get to drive it infrequently!! @PCheaven You are right - the new software release delayed a week so been re-booked in for 4 weeks later. Will allow the rest of you to get it first to let me know what's wrong with it, staying on...

Re: Apple CarPlay upgrade / IOS13

You are presumably using the beta software? Would love to see a few pics, including what the album art looks like during music playback. Yes, as iOS Developer I have beta access. Will take some photos as soon as I drive the car ;) Thanks in advance. This video gives some information but it doesn’t ...

Re: Does the fuel filler lid lock and wipers judder

I don't think North American spec cars have locking gas caps. Mine doesn't either. Apparently a valve in the filler makes it hard for someone to siphon fuel out so locking isn't necessary.

Re: Interesting Route Suggestion

Presumably wait for the next Ice Age so you can walk across the North Sea?

Reminds me of when Google maps used to give directions from one country to another e.g. USA to Japan - it told you to 'swim across the ocean' as part of the directions. Sadly they got boring and removed that joke!

Re: SatNav map updates

Map updates are just described by an updated numeric code. There is no other information as to what is new, and updates now seem to be released monthly. You will have a subscription which allows you to download updates to a USB stick whenever they are available on landrover.here.com (mine is for 4 y...

Re: Over the air updates

Thanks. It suggests here the option to turn this on should be there in the settings but I cant see it. It says over the air updates for infotainment and telematics. I might call the garage and see if I can get them to enable Android Auto at the same time https://www.landrover.com/ownership/software...

Re: Over the air updates

SOTA is for system infotainment software only at present. Other car module software updates have to be done by the dealer. Map updates are done by yourself via a USB stick (downloading update files from landrover.here.com using your maps subscription) or by the dealer. SOTA does need to be enabled f...

Re: No audio with incoming calls via ACP

12.3 seems to have solved it for me. I've take multiple calls the last 2 days. There is a slight lag though when answering but after 2-3 seconds I can hear them and they can hear me. This is my experience too running iOS 12.3 and 19A.11. Takes 2-3 seconds after answering call to hear the caller on ...
