Re: Rejecting a Velar - JLR's Customer Services Director

Rybrook mentioned the 45p per mile and I think this is not unreasonable - didn't know that they had to return the finance payments though. Also any deposits etc get refunded! If you are still happy with the dealer and the brand this can put you into a strong negotiation position as it is in the dea...

Re: Rejecting a Velar - JLR's Customer Services Director

JLR seem to think I should pay a large amount of depreciation even though the the car has had problems since the first few weeks of ownership. As the car is only 6 months old you have the law on your side. If JLR accept the rejection then you have the right to a full refund and all your payments re...

Re: Nabigation

If my car didn't come with Sat Nav installed then would not buy it as it is quite expensive.

Apple CarPlay allows you to use Google Maps, Apple Maps and a favourite of mine Waze. All of these are excellent and free.

Snap.... same as mine. (although I went for black roof as well.)
Great taste :D

I like the black roof. The Black Pack really does make a difference on the white car!

Re: Hello and test drive questions

Haybrd, Is the D240 much better?.........No I have owned both a D240 and a D180 and under normal driving conditions I can honestly say i don't notice any difference whatsoever. On paper it's about a second slower to 60mph, but as I don't thrash it, my normal time accelerating to 60mph is just the sa...

Velar #2

Won't bore you with the long story, Velar #1 lasted 1 year but had to be rejected due to many issues, and credit to our dealership, they fought our corner with Land Rover and we now have a brand new Velar and we are not disappointed! We have went completely opposite from last car which was Narvik Bl...

Re: Advice please!

Sounds like exactly the same spec as mine which I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Swapped from a D240 and to be honest I can’t tell the difference. The Fuji White R-Dynamic with black pack does look stunning.

Re: Adaptive Suspension - Stupid Question

OK, I was being really thick with this post. I meant to ask how I would know if car fitted with Adaptive Dynamics (might be different from adaptive suspension) as the sales guy told me it was and there is nothing on the screen to tell me of it is on/off. he stated it was on when in Dynamic mode but ...

Adaptive Suspension - Stupid Question

I just got our 2nd Velar (long story) and dealer told me it had adaptive suspension (with magnetic filings)

He told me this only became active in Dynamic mode. I can’t really say I notice much difference so my question is......how do I know if it is fitted?
