Re: Brake disc wear?

Had the same issue and all discs and pads replaced under warranty with 6,000 miles on clock. The car has probably been lying in a compound for months before being sold which would explain corrosion

Re: Rejection Offer - Advice Needed

The reason it is being rejected is pretty straightforward. The balancer shafts failed resulting in the engine being removed and repaired. The new balancer shafts lasted only 1000 miles before failing resulting in engine out again. This is the reason for rejection but there have been other issues wit...

Rejection Offer - Advice Needed

I am now in the process of rejecting my Velar which the dealership is supporting and are being very helpful. There have been various serious issues over the first year of ownership resulting in many visits to the workshops and engine out twice to repair balance shafts amongst other things. Although ...

Has anybody managed to fix this? Kind of makes ACP useless as need to receive calls!

Can Your Dealership Be Trusted To Wash Your Car Properly?

My car has been in and out of dealers many times in last 6 months (long story) Thanks to all the visits, the paintwork (Narvick Black) was an absolute mess with swirls, most of these swirls (in my opinion) have been caused by dealer washing as I am very careful with the wash and drying process. My c...

Re: Best dash cam for a Velar?

Have the dash cam fitted next to mirror, I don't even notice it is there when driving. IMG_0707.jpg Noticed you had the mount stuck to the "dotted" area on the screen. I was told that you aren't supposed to stick anything on that area, as it can effect the auto sensors (rain sensor, I guess). Think...

Re: Phase 5 update now available

Mine went in yesterday for update (Monday 8th April). 19a installed and seems to be working very well so far. It has been in several times since last Autumn to get ACP installed but has never been achieved until now. Apple CarPlay is fast and works really well with Waze which I like. IMG_3845.jpg IM...

Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

This survey has a flaw, surely if the question is "Do you have a Ceramic / Nano coating" there should be an option for "No"?

Maybe I am missing something :-)
