Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

Using a dual action polishing machine is quite safe even for amateurs. You will not burn through the clear coat of the car if you move the machine 1 inch every 1 second. It's a doddle. Just don't use a rotary polishing machine. Leave that to the professionals. You will get amazing results. Totally ...

Re: Poll : Paint protection - Ceramic or Nano coating - worth it??

I am thinking of getting the Narvik black and I wanted to see if swirls was a thing! I hear on this site a lot! and is any form of paint protection wise to reduce swirling or shall I just pay for a decent valet each month like a few of you said. I wash my car weekly and the narvik is prone to scrat...

great job. what polish and protective layer did you use?
1. Meguires Ultimate Polish
2. Meguires Ultimate Liquid Wax

Re: Time To Tackle The Swirls

After watching several YouTube videos I got the confidence to tackle the paintwork with my new DA Polisher. Clay Barred the paintwork and a only a 2 stage polish (polish out swirls and then apply protective layer). Paintwork did not need heavy cutting as it is relatively new and has been looked afte...

Time To Tackle The Swirls

I have a Narvick Black Velar (first black car) and the swirls on the paintwork driving me mad (some introduced by the dealer). I have taken the plunge and invested in a machine polisher and I am going to start tackling them today. Although I am a bit OCD about polishing the car I have never used a m...

Re: Whistling/whining noise on start up.

My money is on the balancer shaft. I got 6,000 miles on mine before they went. Major job with engine out but now back on the road and fingers crossed. They are repairing these on a regular basis now so don't ignore engine whine (which sounds like turbo). Hello Mac, How frequent was the noise on you...

Re: Best dash cam for a Velar?

Have the dash cam fitted next to mirror, I don't even notice it is there when driving.

Re: Best dash cam for a Velar?

Have Nextbase dash cam fitted at Halfords, hardwired into fuse box .

Neat job and no wires showing.

Re: Filler plug

Sorry, but this post has really cheered me up this morning.

“Beside the tyre pressure plate” was what creased me up.

I suppose it is like Catchphrase, it’s obvious when someone gives you the answer.
