Re: New Maps .157 a step backward?

As far as I know as many other automotive companies JLR maps are based on Nokia Here navigation and from there it uploads current traffic status. If you see odd traffic on your maps maybe compare it with https://wego.here.com/traffic/ , if there's a difference between that and what you see on your c...

Android Auto / Black screen

Hi three, I'm currently running my entertaiment system on latest 19C build. Unfortunately Ive noticed that if you plug your Android device to USB port too quickly (while system is booting) or if you start your engine with already plugged in smartphone, like for example on petrol station, then you ma...

Re: Black edition parts

I've just retro fitted a black pack grill to my car last week.

Looks much better then original silver grill. I highly recommend it to any Velar user.

I wanted to paint the lettering as well, but I'm a little bit hesitant to detach it from the hood.

Re: Engine fan running most of the time

This problem was supposedly fixed 5 months ago when the dealer replaced the water pump. The fan worked fine up until last week. Now I have the car scheduled to be serviced in 2 weeks. I will keep the forum posted as to the cause. Please do. I also had my water pomp replaced. It all works great now ...

Re: Yet another MPG post

P250: All depends on the journey. I'm getting at best 20 mpg in heavy city traffic (Comfort mode). My best result was 36 mpg on long way drive in a country, but I was driving like an old lady just trying to achieve lowest mpg :). Basically it's a SUV with petrol engine, bad mpg result is expected.

Re: Touchscreen - Dark Mode or Light Mode?

Dark. Looks well in black interior.

BTW I also set Favorite button on steering wheel to turn off the display upon button press. Very useful if you drive at night and you don't need navigation or do anything with top screen.

Do car wrap. It will be much cheaper then changing the car :).

BTW in my opinion it's not good idea to buy a car that was just released. It's basically agreeing to be a guinea pig :).

Re: Vehicle Asleep!

I've got the same issue now. After picking up the car from the shop. Software on the car was updated and now Remote InControl app doesn't show correct position and car status. I've read somewhere on other thread that reseting car will help (press and hold JLR Assistant button on the overhead consol ...
