Hello fellow Valarians!
I would love to hear your insights  on this! :!:
My dealer called to convince me to buy and not to lease. He said that the residual value of the new velar will hold higher than average, and so he advised buying the car and selling it after three yours for (as he claimed) a residual value that will be more than the actual value! any thoughts on that!

I don't think there's any way to determine that now. A lot of factors will play into the residuals 3 years down the road. I'm buying mine though.

The jags are a different ball game to be honest. All RANGE ROVER products have had very strong residuals for the first three years - the FFRR, Evoque and Sport are testament to this - I see no reason why the Velar will be any different as it has really carried the game on for the brand.

Thanks for the thoughts KRG!
Dealer says banks are giving more VTL when buying! Will see!
VTL??
fundedlearning ...
The car's VTL..is the Value to Loan...the higher the car in value after the loan is paid (residual value) the better interest and financing terms banks give.
