I got RAC extended warranty for £850 for 3 years haven't had a chance to use it yet, so not sure mine even works lol

Did you get a list of limitations and what it covers? I'm out of warranty come December and have been quoted £550 for 12 months but still waiting to see what is and is not covered.

No sadly its not a LR warranty but one offered by Autoprotect. It "appears to cover most things" but wondering if anyone else has used this company in the past. At £550 it compares favourably with others but not LR. It does cover EU use which in my case could be useful

Do Autoprotect (and similar) use OEM parts?

I'm not sure however it doesn't mention anything other than "non approved parts are not acceptable" which could mean anything. Also they mention that they reserve the right to move the vehicle to another service centre if deemed necessary. In the case of LR vehicles they do prefer to use LR Specialists - which is OK by me. It covers "everything up to 60,000miles or 6 years" after which they reserve the right to make a deduction for "fair wear and tear"
