Just out of curiosity, in the UK the P250 is roughly GBP 1k more expensive than the D180
In the US, the D180 is about USD 6k more expensive than the P250.
Why is that? Any tax on diesel in the USA for the difference?
I've briefly looked around and this the D180 is also the entry price point in other right hand drive countries (Australia, etc) and the P250 is more expensive.
The only other country I found with Diesel more expensive than the Petrol was Brazil....
Confusing hence my curiosity! Surely one of the engines must be more expensive to produce than the other, but why such a crazy/all over the place pricing?? :?:
