I am in dispute with my dealer at the moment about a couple of things.

One niggle is the definition of 360 Degree Parking Aid.

What do you people believe this option is??

Originally I thought it was the surround cameras, however my dealer clarified it was the parking sensors front, back and on the sides.

The 360 degree parking aid, as fitted to my FE, does exactly that. It exactly shows the objects surrounding the car from above, or to each of the 4 sides.

Surround Camera System is a chargeable option, if you didn't order it you won't get it, unless it was included in a "pack" or you bought a FE.

Agree with comment above that 360 parking aid doesn't have cameras all round.

Slightly off topic but is the cam needed or sensors good enough?

Sensors are very good. But this was a no brainer to us. Any contact with the body will be more expensive then the camera option.

I think I'll go with the 360 cam as yes a far cheaper option than pranging the Velar in our tight underground office car park with loads of concrete pillars.

I assumed the 360 aid was the same as 360 camera so just had an exchange with the dealer. I think the differences could have been clearer &#x1f937-1f3fd-2642;
