just want to say hello, today was a good day. my sales rep informed me, that my Velar is on its way to the dealer.

when i ordered in july outlook was 1 year waiting time, order confirmation said 6 months, finally it will be "only" 5 months.

here some stats:

D240 SE
corris grey
privacy glass
light oyster
argento pinstripe
extended leather pack (luxury pack1)
heated seats front and back
ventilated seats front
standard 20" on summer tires
19" style 5046 winter tires
no badges
aux heating
air suspension
premium carpet mats
Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting Lockable Cooled Glovebox
Four-zone Climate Control
Cabin Air Ionisation
Timed Climate with Remote
Loadspace partition net
360 degree camera
Configurable Dynamics
All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC)
Terrain Response 2
Morzine headlining
Two additional USB charge points
Adaptive Cruise Control with Queue Assist and Intelligent Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and Adaptive Speed Limiter,
Driver Condition Monitor and Blind Spot Assist
Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) radio
Electrically deployable tow bar
Advanced Tow Assist

was not an easy decision but finally i decided to go for the D240 instead of D300, but weight = handling as well as expected consumption pointed towards the 4 cylinder.
opted against windsor leather as the massage seats performance were not justifying the extra cost, no wonder that JLR is not much talking about it.

so far i realy enjoyed to follow the forum, great community.
