Didn't think to order a velar early so was on the waiting list for cancelled orders, and just agreed to snap this one up, not exactly what i wanted but I cannot wait to get my hands on it, asked for delivery first week of sep on a 67 plate. Specs are as follows

Light oyster extended leather interior
Ambient lighting
Air suspension
Privacy glass
Premium mats

Have an uncle who works at JLR who tells me they've had countless problems late in development but I couldn't help myself. Can't wait!

Can't be that bad problems if you have still ordered?! Either we are all blinded by the love of Velar or we are mugs for wanting a poisoned chalice! :?:
Nice spec tho. Pretty much all the good options. What about pano roof tho? I couldn't buy a car without one.

Just saw a flat red D240 S in my cinema car park (to watch Dunkirk btw....do NOT waste your money. An appallingly unrealistic movie). The "S" was, like the film, frighteningly basic. Plus, it looked shockingly small next door to a previous model XC90. But, there again, it may just have been because Ive been watching FE porn on line all these months while looking forward to my delivery (on Thursday).

Would anyone actually order a Velar "S" over a pretty well fully loaded Evoque? Or, a pretty well spec'd new XC60? Seriously doubt it!
