Hi everyone,

I've been following the forum for a while and just placed my order for a velar yesterday. Just received vista sheet from my dealer with build date 7/14/17 and delivery in mid September. For reference my config is (USA spec):

R Dynamic SE P380
Indus silver
black roof
20" rims-satin grey
Eclipse/ebony with oyster headlining
extended leather
wood trim
mood lighting
Off road pack
surround camera

So excited that i'm in the waiting pool now! Will also look into doing xpel stealth or other paint protection wrap that others have suggested. My dealer deals with the only xpel authorized installer in the area so hopefully I can get it all done before I take possession of the car. Looking forward to joining other excited velar (pre)owners and being active in the forum! Cheers!

Order was placed in Allentown, PA. Dealer told me mine is only the second Velar ordered at their dealership but delivery is scheduled before the previous order. I wonder if the first order had items that are delayed.

I think the US/UK packages differ slightly in equipment, but my US spec is:

P250 R-Dynamic SE
Narvik Black
20" Satin Grey 10 spoke
sliding panoramic roof
Eclipse/Ebony interior
Ebony headlining
10 way heated/cooled seats w/ memory
extended leather upgrade
shadow aluminum
configurable ambient interior lighting

I may be forgetting something,..should be a very modern feel vs classic.

Thanks! I wish I'd get some new info about mine...US dealers seem to be clueless. I was told they're going to a major training event for the Velar in the coming weeks. Hopefully we're still on track for end of August deliveries.
