Just did my first long trips in new D300 and mpg was excellent. Did 160 miles averaging 65-70mp and got 50mpg on ECO mode.
On the return 160 miles I left in Comfort, but with similar speeds (adaptive cruise set to 70) and got 44mpg.
Very happy 馃槉

Get almost the same figures if driver reasonable, drops off a bit if regular town or traffic journeys but its quite good for a big diesel.

LOL. I am lucky if I get 20MPG in my P380. Usually more like 15MPG

The efficiency gap is not quite that large if you correct for the difference between Imperial Gallons and US Gallons (approx 10%). I'm able to get 26 MP(US)G on long highway runs at about 80 MPH. That's almost 30 MP(Imp)G. Nothing to brag about, but passable.

Around town, our chipped P380 is really bad (mid to high teens). We drive the I Pace whenever we can for errands.
