Delaminating taillights

Post by Srobert910 » Thu Oct 11, 2018 6:30 pm

All of my taillights have delaminating and the center one actually has moisture inside of it. The dealer says that they will replace them but are not currently available from JLR. JLR USA just told me that it is a known issue and they are working on an updated version that will not have this issue. They could not give me a timeframe. Does anyone else here have that same issue?

No, though I’ve seen it on topix.

I do have cracks in my front headlights, currently going through all the necessary channels. Dealer agrees it’s not right, but won’t submit the claim without LRs approval, they cost £3k each inc VAT. I’ve sent pictures to LR where the warranty claim team will examine the photos and an LR tech manager will come from the factory to check them, hopefully within the next fortnight.

J77, how did you go with this, I seem to have an issue with my front right headlight where the inside is well it looks as though part of it has come unstuck and it was something I mentioned to the dealer a long time ago, but wasn't that noticeable however now it's very noticeable, will speak to the dealer again tomorrow.
