Replace bumper reflector

Post by valeryberg » Wed Jun 12, 2019 10:35 am

Hi everyone,

I've recently had a minor car accident, so I need to change the damaged reflector.

Has anyone tried to replace the rear bumper reflector? There are 2 reflectors in the bumper, I need to replace the upper one (photos attached). It's not really clear how to take it off.

I would appreciate any instructions on how to replace it.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure entirely about that piece specifically, but all the plastic trim is clipped on and can be unclipped, you just have to take care pulling it out. I suggest getting plastic wedge to see if there are clips attaching the black trim.

I removed the trim under the body panel doors, they weren't difficult.

Isn't that the fog light?

Thanks to everyone.

I've managed to pull out the black plastic trim around the fog light. The process is pretty similar to other range rovers. After that it wasn't difficult to replace the fog light.

Thats interesting, I have a cracked reflector also. I just looked in Topix and to replace the foglight it says you have to remove the whole rear bumper!
