In Control Issue

Hi All

I have correctly setup my In Control account, downloaded apps etc & received confirmation email that all now setup.
However, when I try to log in to the account in the vehicle it states I need to link the vehicle to the account which I have done already and the vehicle shows on the app and the website.

Any thoughts?

Log into your InControl account using a browser, rather than the App. Have a look at the Subscriptions on your account, such as Secure Tracker etc....
Is REMOTE one of your subscriptions?? If not, like mine wasn’t, the Telematics team (via the CRC/CEC) will ask your permission to remove your car from your account, then add REMOTE to your account for you, and then ask you to add your car back to your account, which should then have REMOTE as one of your subscriptions.
Worked for me personally, and when I told my dealer, they found several other MY21 cars with the identical issue. It seems the REMOTE subscription was not added during the build.
I’ve still got two more to resolve, but getting there!!

Just checked and REMOTE is showing as part of the subscriptions

I’m glad you’ve got REMOTE. At least that’s some progress!
After that, I’m not sure of a solution as it worked for me from that point.

CRC/CEC is the Customer Relationship Centre or Customer Experience Centre, depending on who you talk to....!

Software update done at the dealers sorted this for me. It’s a known issue, from my dealings with JLR I’m told it’s been passed to all dealers.
D200 R- Dynamic SE, MY21. Byron Blue, Sliding panoramic roof, air suspension, dynamic handling pack, premium cabin lighting, front fog lights, cabin air ionisation.
