I got my SE 380 Grey Velar after the " Permanent Fix", but I am still having terrible condensation of my front windshield and sides windows, to the point where I need to have a towel with me to wipe off the water... Very un-safe while driving. I am in the process of JLR re-purchasing my vehicle.. I not happy how this all played out, but I will miss my Velar... Sad PA driver..

Just picked up my Velar, they completed N134 recall for defrost issue. Only driven it once so far, but it was 20degrees F and a 45 minute drive with no fogging. So.....so far so good!

First public review that I´ve seen that points out openly to this particular issue:

Well done CNBC; .you suffered it while testing, you point out in the review. Its not a minor issue for specific geographies.

Nice review I have contacted the author to let him know that JLR has come up with a fix for the fogging issue and is rolling this out. Hopefully he will update the review to reflect this.

More info on Recall can be found here https://jlr.oemdtc.com/226/n143-air-inl ... over-velar

Also https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=18V139

Looks like the recall will start April 23rd, if you are affected by this issue I would recommend having the "Zip tie" fix applied until the part\software can fix the issue long term.

I manage to solve the windows defrost and air conditioning problem ... in changing our 80 k Velar for a 85K Range Sport HSE .Dealership was not able to solve the problem. We are very satisfied now. A friend of mine has a 95K Velar facing same issue.
