Where exactly is the sensor for this? Is it in the same place on all the specs, was cleaning the back of the car the other day and it just opened

Yes I have the same issue with my vehicle have booked in in to Land Rover to have a look. The service department said that it could be a issue because I have used the tailgate button and have confused it some what do not think that’s the right answer but will let you know how I get on

Same problem here, I'll be sure to note them about possible solution.

I'll post the outcome as well.

Mine had same problem. The dealer fixed it some how but lasted a few days then it became intermittent. This morning I just got the socket set out and realigned the wonky strike plate. Its working for now and the job took 10 minutes. Will just have to see how it goes.

Beautiful car! Mine looks exactly the same and my sister has nicknamed it "stormtrooper". :)

I couldn’t open the boot with my foot for love nor money. After watching a video on youtube, which I think was made my one of our fellow velar forum members in NYC (P380narvikeclipse) I can do it almost every time and it’s fantasitc.

I have the same problem. Dealer had car for a day and recalibrated the struts to resolve it. However it seems not and I have to provide a helping finger to overcome the initial reluctance to open.

Anyone else had the same issue? How was it solved?

EHH - has it reoccurred since September?

Nope, it’s been working like it should since it was fixed in September- initially, our dealership had also thought it was the struts as well, but it didn’t resolve the issue. They then found it was due to the body seam and that worked

Thanks EHH, any chance you can post a picture of where the work was done?
