Mine has been a constant source of niggles, it’s been the worst LR ownership experience I’ve had, in terms of dealer visits, I’ve owned 10 LRs.

But I’d buy another one tomorrow 😀

So I got my Velar back in September of 2017, I've had it in the shop about 7-8 times since owning it. I've had the two monitors replaced twice, 3 software updates, and two recalls. So before I move on to the final step, which is lemon or a buyback from Land Rover, my service manager wants me to try this latest software update, that's available next week. It includes Apple Carplay and it's on version 5, so we will see what happens. The dealership I deal with has been very helpful, I am just tired of dealing with issues that should not be occurring with a brand of this level, and reputation. I hope it works out, and you guys aren't alone, I've seen many people on YouTube posting videos of the same issue. Didn't think I would have these issues as a first time owner.

Land Rovers reputation is poor quality and customer service.

They’ve finished last in every survey.

Sad but true.

Had mine for a year, and it’s been flawless. Smile every day :)

Sympathize with these situations though. Not a good show from JLR should something go wrong with mine in the future.

It’s going in tomorrow, should have been Friday, but they cancelled. I’ll update you once I have it back. The car is bad enough, but the dealer just compounds the problem. I have told them that if it happens once more I will reject the car without hesitation! Not driven it since collecting last Monday

I went to the same dealer and they couldn’t have been less interested in selling me a car if they tried ! I would ask to speak to the dealer principle and give him chance to rectify the issues before taking it to Auto Express or Trading standards ? I boulght elsewhere and touch wood no issues so far.

It amazes me that with the way the current motor industry is at the moment, you would think they would go the extra mile in order to secure a sale. I also understand that the dealership networks are not owned by JLR so have very little control over them.

Auto Express....good luck getting anywhere with that and as for Trading Standards they do not deal with individual cases. The entire motor industry appears corrupt and above the law. The marketing campaigns are much more reliable than the product have us on the hook. Addicted to stylish cars that do not work properly or reliably.
