Going from 5x108 to 5x120

Post by jobegold » Mon Nov 11, 2019 2:29 am

So iv been looking for a good set of alloy wheels now for some time, i find the choice of alloy wheels for the velar 5x108 is lacking compared to say the sport or the discovery which is 5x120.

I have found some adapter spacers which allow me to run 5x120 wheels, i'm just wondering if anybody has ever had any experience with wheel adapters? I do not really want to make the wheels wider i just want to be able to fit the wheels i like which are 5x120 stud pattern 22inch

Thanks :)

I don't think it's doable with hub cjange. And adapters would add offset, meaning load. May be look if the hub can be changed, but as I said, from what I see, I doubt it. F-pace and Velar have the sme hub, Disco Sport and Evoque use another.

All the recent JLR are 5x108 pcd so not sure where you get the 5x120 size. Not sure about the hubs but I can’t see them being different diameters although not sure.
The offset is what you need to be careful of since each wheel size can be different even between model. Some evoque wheels are different to the same diameter disco sport offsets for example.
