Adverts

Post by Rob » Fri Jun 09, 2017 2:45 pm

Hi all,
You will now notice there are a couple of adverts now appearing on the site. I have tried to keep it advert free for as long as possible but to help cover the costs of hosting the site, the anti spam software etc. it has become necessary to begin showing these.

I have kept them to a minimum, there should only ever be a single advert at the top of the screen and a single advert towards the bottom.

Thanks
Rob

This new advert is horrendous.

It circles the entire page and shows up in every page.

I'm all for paying your bills but I won't be coming if that sticks around, it's ruining the entire experience.

Hi,
There shouldn’t be any pop up ads on the site. Can you post a screen shot of what you’re seeing?

Thanks

This is what I get. Bottom ad really annoying & didn’t used to appear.

If it helps cover the costs Rob, no problem. It's not a big deal, well for most I guess.

Agreed, it’s hardly a big issue, someone has to pay for this, just a barely noticeable banner on top and a little one on the bottom

I think it’s only there if you’re logged out?

Ditto..no problem...cant expect u to pay out of ur own pocket for valuable service to owners...a gathering place to share knowledge and experience .

Personally the Ads at the bottom are not intrusive in my opinion
