Unfortunately the deal’s fallen through :cry: Due to lockdown I can’t test drive the car and I won’t buy without having a good look around and a test drive. The deal I negotiated is only valid until 18th Jan due to JLR bringing out new finance packages at the start of the year.

That sucks. Is it from a JLR dealer? Will the new finance deal be better?

Yes from a main dealer. I got 4.8% APR, new deals are 8.9%, I would never pay 8.9% :(

Yikes! I’m amazed given interest rates at the moment they are jacking them up that much!

I can only assume they're trying to push people to buy new with the new plate coming in a couple of months? APR on new is still around 4.9% IIRC

Yeah maybe. When I bought mine new the APR on used cars was sky high and there was no negotiation. In this day and age though I’d think they’d want sales.

Hopefully you can find another deal/car.
