D275

Post by chapperzsayz » Mon Dec 03, 2018 9:16 pm

Hello Everyone,

Been tracking this forum for months now, and it has provided so much useful information that I believe has allowed me to order the right car for me, so hello and thank you first and foremost!

The one outstanding question for me is the engine - I have chosen to go for the D275 after test driving both the 240 and 300 engines and trying to get everything I needed to fit into my price point, and ensure insurance is kept to a sensible amount. However, that is exactly the problem - as I haven't been able to test drive the engine I have ended up purchasing. it isn't too late for me to change to the D300 (D240 didn't have enough power for my personal liking). Has anyone driven the D275? What are your thoughts if so?

really appreciate any input here, and thanks again for all of the help thus far.

thanks,

Chris.

I don’t think they are out yet, first ones I was told would be March/April in the end I went for the 300D as it was only £20 a month more on pcp.

yep - see I was offered it for about 15 per month more which I am happy to pay, but my insurance increased by £300 on my cheapest quote which is what is putting me off upgrading.

I have a courtesy D300 HSE R Dynamic, I am truly blown away absolutely no brainer. Have fun and enjoy it the extra power is well worth it.

Only if I test drove one before purchasing the D180 R Dynamic SE.

I did test drive a D180 and felt after a couple months the novelty would have worn off, so went for the D300 as I think it’s an amazing engine and better suits the car IMHO.

Tyrell - I think I’m going to agree with you.

Guys dnt get me wrong the d180 is good and will do the job. But the d300 is next level stuff !! A big smile on your face every time you put your foot down a bit.
Also the air suspensions when lowered the car just looks so sexy!
