Basic Velar - PCP

Post by KS55 » Sat Apr 14, 2018 9:26 pm

Hi,

First time post on forum......

I am interested in purchasing a Velar but can realistically only afford the most basic model (c£45k).

I have shopped around and can see that Stratstones LR are offering the basic model on a PCP at £399 per month with £399 deposit (6k miles / 48 months).

Seems like an excellent deal - I wondered if anyone knew of any dealerships in the UK that offer anything similar or even cheaper.

Thanks!

For a basic velar it only sounds ok to me.

Check out rockcar and check out leases.

Also consider a different ca maybe as bass has terrible wheels and not even sat nav.

I would wait 6 months and go down the used route - you're sure to get into a D180 SE spec with more equipment than ordering a stock car. Aim for the half year closing around September to get the best deals via CarWow would be my counsel.

Yeah I could live with 180 engine but not base spec.

Se is great and only a little over s in many monthly payments. 10-15 quid.

Hi I bought the basic model from stratstone for my wife she added primium lights power tail gate and heated steering wheel. Bought on pcp at ten thousand miles per year £43000 bottom line is 480 per month she absolutely loves the car and has just done 505 miles on one tank of fuel that means a fill up every two weeks , the car looks better on big wheels but we have BIG holes to drive over in Northumberland so 18 inch wheels are safer.

Another happy Velar owner. They are great and I love mine too. My D300 does 400 miles which isn't much less than my old 320d X-drive BMW.

Seems a good deal. I am in the market for one myself. Trying to get dealers to ring back when you advise you have seen a deal is difficult.

I would be going for a basic too, then sticking some nice wheels on it. I would be tempted by the S if the price was not a million miles away.

Anyone else got a good offer? Please share?

All the good offers appear to have gone on pcp due to balloon payments being hammered. This is probably due to worse than expected sales.

Apr also went up in rockcar
